 You remain the full owner of your data. It is never shared, never sold, and never used for any purpose without your explicit consent.

2. Our Data Handling Principles

3. Working with Lifecode Gx

All DNA analysis is conducted by Lifecode Gx, a UK-based laboratory with strict data protection protocols and ISO certification.

Here’s how your sample and data are handled:

🔢 Once received, samples are assigned a barcode; all other personal identifiers are removed

🧪 The DNA test is used only to generate your reports

📤 Reports are shared only with your authorised practitioner (e.g. DNA Based Wellness)

🏥 Each sample is processed in an ISO-certified UK lab

🗑️ Samples are destroyed after 3 months

⌛ Genotyping data is marked for destruction at 5 months, and fully deleted by 6 months

🚫 Data is never shared or sold to third parties

 

All DNA extraction and analysis is conducted entirely within the UK

As an EU resident, you have the right to:

🧬 A unique DNA sample ID (barcode, not your name)


📄 Your DNA report results (linked only to the anonymous ID)

We do not store your raw DNA file longer than needed unless you explicitly request it for future access or consultation.

6. Want Your Data Deleted?

You can request complete deletion at any time, including:
